This set includes four individual metal bins designed to be buried directly in the soil of a garden or vegetable patch. This in-ground method allows worms to move freely between the bin and the surrounding earth, naturally aerating the soil. It is an effective way to deliver nutrients directly to the roots of nearby plants.
Each bin is equipped with a lid to protect the contents from the elements and keep the composting process contained. The metal construction offers durability against the moisture and pressure of being underground. By distributing these four units across a backyard, a gardener can improve the soil quality over a wide area simultaneously.
The black finish of the lids helps them remain discreet when placed among mulch or plants. These bins are specifically intended for organic refuse and work best when populated with composting worms. This system is a low-maintenance alternative to large above-ground tumblers, focusing on localized soil enrichment for healthy plant growth.
